New Works Featured in ‘Perspectives: A Lens in History’ ArtPop Alumni Exhibit

July 15th - August 30th, 2025

Two brand new pieces are on display at Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius, NC as a part of 'Perspectives: A Lens in History.’ This exhibit features lens-based works by numerous ArtPop Street Gallery artists and alumni.

I’m exited to share this new diptych from my Payphones on Film series: one depicts a U.S. “Superman-style” phone booth found in Marion, NC, and the other features a UK Red Telephone Box found in Seattle, WA. In my 7 years of hunting and photographing payphones, I haven’t found many walk-in phone booths, making these images pretty special in the series. To draw attention to the unique shape and design differences, I shaped each panel to match the corresponding phone booth, breaking from the rounded rectangular format that the others have had.
