Luminous Exhibit at Hodges Taylor
Works by Alexis Howard & Dylan Bannister
Reception on Saturday, April 26th from 6:30 - 8:30pm
I’m excited to announce this new exhibit featuring works by myself and my partner, Alexis Howard! Please join us for the public reception this Saturday, April 26th from 6:30 - 8:30pm!
We are delighted to share this exhibit with the world, which features works that highlight the serendipitous beauty of everyday life: the dappled sunlight cast through trees at golden hour, the old buildings we pass on a walk, and the sky that suspends perfect, puffy clouds.
If you can’t make it to the reception, please reach out to either of us to set up a gallery visit with a personalized tour while the exhibit is on-view. We have a few more surprises in the works related to this exhibit, so please stay tuned!
Keep Rock Hill Creative
The Tom S. Gettys Center, a space in downtown Rock Hill, SC which has been utilized as a community arts space for nearly 40 years, has been publicly listed for sale by City Council. They currently believe that selling the building will bring more value than its current use. Respectfully, they are wrong.
The creative community is coming together and organizing efforts to prove the significant impact that the Gettys Center has on arts & culture in this community and beyond. We have organized Keep Rock Hill Creative - an initiative to preserve and foster Rock Hill, SC’s arts & cultural community. This is a grassroots effort organized by local artists and art-lovers.
Please follow Keep Rock Hill Creative on instagram / facebook, and stay tuned for more details about how you can get involved.
