My partner Alexis Howard and I are thrilled to announce our duo-exhibit Luminous at Hodges Taylor in Charlotte, NC’s South End! Hosted as a part of Hodges Taylor’s 2025 Organizer Series, the exhibit will bring our most recent works to the Charlotte area for the very first time!
Exhibition Statement:
Luminous features recent artworks by Alexis Howard and Dylan Bannister which seek to highlight the serendipitous beauty in the everyday. Both artists utilize photography as a tool to capture instantaneous moments, offering new perspectives on ordinary objects and spaces. Using their images as the genesis for creative exploration, Alexis and Dylan challenge conventional photographic presentation methods through their use of unique substrates and interdisciplinary techniques.
